I finally got around to properly clearing out my shoes, I’ve now narrowed my collection to
a measly 41 pairs. 41 may not seem like too much for a shoe-obsessed fashion student, but lo and behold, I ran out of space anyway. I’ve decided to rearrange and make use of the wasted space on my Billy bookcases from Ikea in order to store many of my all-black shoes.
No doubt within a few months I’ll need to
buy a whole new shelving system rearrange my shelves some more in order to accommodate some obviously much needed new feet cases.
Finally! A collection I can get my teeth into. Jonathan Simkhai. Inspired by broken glass, infusing geometric-patchwork-netting (that’s a thing) with my favourite hues of black and white make for a highlight (so far) of NYFW.

BOOTS | ZARA
BRAS | BOTH H&M
Because who doesn’t need boots or bras? It’s autumn and boots are a must (especially with the typically elusive weather with which we are begrudgingly compelled to put up with here in England). And bras are always a must aren’t they? I am already the proud owner of many pairs of practical black winter boots (five to be precise) but these beauties are from Zara and provide maximum warmth thanks to the faux fur lining inside; have rubber track soles to provide (hopefully) a steady and rather comforting trek through (probably) many journeys (uni-London-home-London-uni) and go with eeeeeverything. As for the bras? Well, they’re just rather nice.
