Summer is here (although the grey clouds and low temperatures here in England suggest otherwise) which means it’s time to revamp our Winter wardrobes – If you live in most other countries you would’ve done this months ago, but this is the land where Spring and Autumn do not exist; the months simply seem to have no definition. Below are my top picks for Spring and Summer – I am absolutely loving the new collection from & Other Stories, I want every single piece!
As I sit here in my tiny, cramped room at uni, surrounded by paperwork, chargers, leads, pens, makeup and everything else that can’t seem to make space for; I scroll through my Pinterest feed and see tons of amazing, organised and fresh-looking desks and workspaces in which I dream of requiring. Back in February I was invited to attend Blogger’s Fashion Week as a VIB (Very Important Blogger!), hosted by Blogger’s Love… and I had a ball, I even had a drink (alcoholic!!!) which, anyone who knows me will know, I don’t drink. So anyway, there were tons of brands showcased at the event which was held at The Penthouse in Leicester Square, which by the way has incredible views over the whole of London!
Brands showcased included: BassBuds, Vita Liberata, Umberto Giannini, Sleep-In Rollers, Bravura, Hi Brow, Nadia Minkoff, Maro, My Tights, UUnique, The City Rack, Dukes, Rachel Black, Boomf and tons more.
This is my friend Hayley getting eyebrow extensions (???!!!) who knew?!
These were the personalised marshmallows created by Boomf. If you haven’t heard of them you should definitely check them out, you connect the site to your Instagram account and create marshmallows out of them! Such a perfect birthday gift!
First drink of the year so far…. steady.
Fun in the photobooth! Thank you to Blogger’s Love… for inviting me, I’ll be updating my blog with more posts on some of the brands that were featured and that I really liked over the next few days so stay tuned!

After a long bout of HUGE adoration across the pond, Mabelline’s Baby Lips range has finally made it’s way to the UK! Introducing six shades onto our market, Baby Lips offer “intense care and 8 hour hydration, and is nourishing for baby soft lips”. With an SPF of 20 and costing only £2.99 you can’t really go wrong with these. I’ve heard great things about them and plan on buying the shades “Pink Punch” and “Cherry Me” at the weekend! Visit Boots to purchase and see the collection!
Being late is sometimes deemed fashionable, other times plain rude. But with these Kate Spade watches you can be both fashionable and on time. I came across one Kate Spade watch in a street style snap on Pinterest and googled Kate Spade watches and lo and behold, they’re all fabulous. For some reason the faces of the watches remind me of a sweet shop (or candy store), very cute and girly, but not to OTT or showy. Here’s a selection of my favourites…
Aren’t they darling? I think they’re perfect! I especially love the black and white ones, just takes your armwear up to a whole new level!

I’ve used nail polishes by Essie for a while now and I’m in love with them! They last for ages, almost a whole week; the colours always seem to be true (they always come out on the nail exactly as they look in the bottle); they dry pretty quickly and they’re very easy to apply, not too thin or goopy. Not to mention their array of colours is faaaaaabulous! Last week I bought two new nail polishes from Essie, Aruba Blue and Fiji. I’ve been looking for a cobalt/electric blue hue for a while, similar to the Nails inc. Baker Street one that Beyonce has sported recently, mostly likely in honour of her daughter Blue Ivy..
I wanted a blue similar to this and found Aruba Blue at Essie, which is a cobalt blue with pearly undertones in it, I think it’s flattering on my skin tone. I took a photo here of it on my nails so I can give a fair account of how it looked on my skin.
I really love this colour! I think it will look great in both summer and winter and looks great on toes too.
The other nail polish I bought from Essie was Fiji. I’ve heard lots of people praising this one up on YouTube so I thought I’d buy it and see what I thought. It is a very light pinky/milky colour that is both modern and super easy to wear, goes with everything and I know this may sound strange to some of you (others that are into nail polishes will know what I’m talking about) but I feel this polish makes my hands look cleaner… Haha okay that does sound crazy written down and I promise that my hands are always clean anyway but some polishes can make your hands look kind of murky or… dead. And this one just brightens up my hands.. Kind of like a highlight for your hands or something.
I can’t wait to wear this colour on holiday, I think it’ll look amazing with a tan!
I love Pinterest more and more as the weeks go by. I get so many ideas everyday, it’s so inspiring! Follow me on Pinterest here.
& Other Stories is H&M’s sister brand consisting of all classic, minimalist timeless pieces in a price range that’s affordable, but not throwaway fashion like H&M. Here are my favourite pieces from the current collection for Spring, you’ll see just how timeless they are, they don’t follow particular trends so as to keep a classic formula to their brand. For more info on & Other Stories go to stories.com.
