ISABEL MARANT FOR H&M: SNEAK PREVIEW!

H&M have collaborated with many amazing figures in the fashion world over the past 8 or so years and their latest project is in conjunction with the style maven that is Isabel Marant. Everybody’s go-to girl for practical, stylish, Parisian-chic clothing has collaborated with H&M for a new collection due out in November and earlier this week H&M teased us all with a preview of the upcoming collection.

What we will get from this collection is anyone’s guess but be sure that it’ll greatly reflect Marant’s style ethos from her runway collections. Wedged trainers? Tassle boots? Cropped moto leather trousers? Stylish knits? Who knows, but as H&M’s most anticipated collaboration yet, I certainly can’t wait to see what Ms Marant brings to the table with H&M! November 14th brings us the official launch of the line, with both womenswear AND menswear, along with shoes and accessories.

SO I FINALLY CAVED IN AND BOUGHT THEM…

I actually wrote a blog post about these AllSaints beauties a while ago saying how much I wanted them and how I was probably going to buy them…. And I did. A girl true to my word, me. The only difference is that they made it to the amazing AllSaints sale!! They were £99 reduced from £165 and considering I was going to spend the full £165 I raced upstairs as fast as my short legs would take me (I’m 5’1 so let’s not make jokes), and punched in my card details so fast that if my laptop was a person, which it’s not so that’s a silly idea, but if it was it would’ve been wailing under the tremendous speed at which my fingertips were banging on the keys.

What was almost as impressive as the boots themselves was the shipping from the AllSaints website. The shipping was free which it always is for standard delivery orders, but it arrived less and 48 hours after I ordered! I ordered them on Sunday evening and they arrived Tuesday morning which is fab in my book!

Now the boots themselves are beautiful as you can see from my state of the art iPhone photography, stylistically devised in my back garden. Like a pro. The leather is as soft as butter and they’re just so comfy! The heel height is perfect to wear all day and they’ll go with anything! I will literally wear them with e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g.

Check out the A M A Z I N G  AllSaints sale right now, right this second!!! There’s only a few days left and the prices are really coming down! Check it out, here!

OF COURSE I BOUGHT SOME NEW SHOES.

I made a vow to myself a while ago that I’d stop spending. I spent some more and re-established the vow. I then spent more money and tried to work on my marriage with my bank balance, but it seems it is not meant to be, because I’ve spent more. You could say I’m having a marital tiff with my bank account. We’re on the brink of divorce. The cause of all this pain and upset (on my bank account’s part) is a shopping trip I took today where I bought these darling shoes from Zara (amongst other things…. I know, I KNOW).

I’ve been eyeing them up for a while and I saw them today and practically ran and skidded on the floor to get to them, like some kind of torpedo was going to come along and whisk them all away in the time it would take me to walk over to them like a normal person. But I had to have them, obviously, so in a rather dramatic fashion I dropped everything, shoved my foot inside and decided they were mine.

I cannot wait to wear these, I literally have a million outfits planned to wear them with, both summer and winter versions. Lace skirts with leather jackets, black skinnies and scruffy tees, pencil skirts and button up shirts, shorts & tights; endless outfits. They are the definition of perfection.

COVETING…

How much I adore these boots from All Saints cannot be sufficiently described with human language. Okay, perhaps that’s taking my love for them a bit too far and seeing as I’m currently writing a blog post on them, it’s pointless trying to say I can’t find any words. But I do love them, very much. They are the Bonny Cuban boots in Taupe, they’ll go with everything, last for yonks and still stay classic. So why am i hesitating you may ask? Because they also come with a £165 price tag. urgh. So close and yet so far.

SPRING HAS SPRUNG HAUL

Spring is finally here in the UK (sort of) so what more excuse do I need to go shopping (on a budget…)?

I’m supposed to be saving my money for university in September, but me being me, I couldn’t stop myself. Although I did refrain from spending close to £70 on a bikini in All Saints and bought on for £4 in Primark instead. How good am I?

Firstly I hit up Primark where I bought these nude studded sandals (£6) and the pale pink printed bikini…

Also in Primark, I bought a bold print midi dress (£10) seen here with some orange leather ballet flats from Topshop (£16) and a zebra print kaftan from H&M (£14.99).

Continuing my search for relatively inexpensive Spring buys, I headed to New look where I found this black and white midi dress, perfect for summer or winter.

And last but certainly not least, I bought this GORGEOUS waistcoat from the limited The New Icons collection by H&M. They only had one left in stock and it was in my size so I think it was just meant to be… It fits like a glove, the intricate beadwork is so detailed it could easily be Balmain. But with a price tag of just £34.99 this is enough to tip me over the sartorial edge. i just had to have it.
