Autumn is fast approaching, even though I’d desperately holding onto jackets-not-coats and bare legs-not-tights for dear life. Here is a selection of my favourite transitional pieces from the new arrivals for Autumn/Winter 2015.
As I write this I am wearing a wooly cable knit jumper whilst rain pours down the windowpane in front of me. You would never know that it’s actually summer here in England…
Most bloggers tend to make their summer wish lists not long after the A/W shows in March, however winter seems to drag and drag and draaaaaaag until we get perhaps 5 minutes of sun at the end of August.
So here is a few of my favourite picks from the summer collections, even if I do have to wait for a weather/lottery miracle to happen in order for me to actually wear them.
I feel like a whole big chunk of my life is made up of wishlists. Wishlists for clothing. Wishlists for travel. Wishlists for food. Wishlists for pretty much every aspect of life that I am yet to have. Avenue 32 asked me to create a wishlist of items I love the most on their website, so I thought that on this fine Sunday, I would bring you said list.
My student loan will be a no-show once I’ve got my hands on that Jerome Dreyfuss bag. SJP is apparently a fan and that’s enough for me. And let’s face it, there’s no need to convince me to buy anything from J Brand.
So basically, Avenue 32 is where I’ve spent the past hour wishing, however some of these items are just a bit too nice not to make that wish into a reality, right? And I pinned that Eudon Choi dress a while back (Pinterest being my main source for wishing) and now I’ve found it Avenue 32…..
On a side note, I’ve been following Ascia of The Hybrids blog for over a year now and back in February she posted this on the blog, an outfit featuring the Joshua Sanders slip-ons, and don’t they look divine?! Ascia calls them her mermaid shoes and I couldn’t think of a better name.
Well I know where my next pay check will be heading.
I know I know. It’s June, I get it. But I just couldn’t help absolutely fawning over this peacoat from Belstaff at Net-A-Porter. It’s absolutely bleedin’ gawgus. I’ve decided to blog about this coat because I’ll never be able to afford the £895 bill, I’ll just admire it from afar with tear-stained cheeks while I wear my Primark togs. Okay, perhaps I’m exaggerating (slightly). Well perhaps not Primark but definitely something about £800 cheaper than this beauty.
I just adore the modern take on the classic shape of the peacoat with the zips and shoulder and elbow detailing, it’ll last forever and be in style for eternity. Now, where is my lottery ticket?
This Vivienne Westwood necklace is probably the answer to everyone’s problems. It’s the answer to world hunger, all recessions and the peacemaker in war-torn countries. Okay well maybe not, but it does solve a lot of my problems. Well at least I think it does. Does it? I don’t know. Look, ALL I KNOW IS THAT THIS NECKLACE IS AMAZING AND I CAN’T HAVE IT BECAUSE IT’S TOO EXPENSIVE AND I WANT TO CRY. Moment over, enjoy this piece of beauty in all it’s emerald glory.
Necklace: £125 Vivienne Westwood S/S2013 collection.
Also available are matching earrings and a bangle, for more info on the ‘Emerald Frames’ collection click here.
Vivienne Westwood’s Anglomania collection unveiled their lookbook for Spring/Summer 2013, and I LOVEITSOMUCHIWANTITALLOMG. *sigh*
These pieces are all PERFECT. I don’t need to say much about them, you’ll see for yourselves. But the colours, Westwood-cuts, styling, just EVERYTHING.
I need to win the lottery, like now.

So who knew that a monochrome dress would first catch my eye and then swiftly catch my heart? Well, it’s not that unusual considering my life seems to be in black & white. Not in a strange you-need-your-eyes-testing kind of way, but just because if you don’t know already, black & white makes me go weak at the knees. Now, the dress shown here is not dissimilar to the dress I’m wearing in my previous outfit post… I realise that. But I just loooooove it so much and I’m determined to own it. It’s like a mission, I WILL own this dress, it has my name on it.
It’s from H&M, costs £34.99 and is just so damn chic. If any of you have it, I hate you, you fashionable thing. If any of you have it in a UK size 8 and don’t want it, I love you.
